    By a long way, First 4 Solar were the most responsive to my initial request for quote. What won them the business though, was the consultative way in which they engaged with me. After we agreed on what could possibly be fitted (4kW), a survey took place a matter of days afterwards and it was found I could have a more powerful system (5kW), which was offered at a really competitive rate. Subsequently, the installation team were here and finished within 21 days of my enquiry and here's the rub; this company is not local to me and I tried really hard to give local tradesmen this work. None of them could be bothered to try and made me feel like I was inconveniencing them by asking. So instead, this business went out of county (Cornwall) to Leeds. The installers drove from Essex, installed the system and went home again all in one day. THAT is hard work and THAT is customer service, so if you're reading this, forget trying to be loyal to local trade with something of this high-value; use First4Solar instead and you'll feel like you're looked after.
